Elean(Xiaoan) Fan Principle Engineer, Line manager, Huawei Technologies.

Ms. Elean Fan received Bachelor’s degree from Peking University and Master’s degree from National University of Singapore in Electrical Engineering.  After the research on signal processing, she joined Huawei and started to work on LTE/LTE-advanced research and 3GPP standardization since 2005. She has been attending 3GPP RAN1 meetings since 2007 and attending RAN plenary meetings since 2015. Her main focus is on physical layer channel, signal, multiplexing and physical layer procedures.

Elean has been the rapporteur for the study item and work item of Small Cell Enhancements-Physical Layer Aspects in 3GPP, and is the editor of the associated Technical Report 36.872. She is also a vice leader of IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group.
