It is located in the Siaogang District of Kaohsiung City near Kaohsiung Harbor and is 9 kilometers from the city center. An excellent airport access network is one of the airport's features, including taxi ranks, city buses, long distance coach services and the Kaohsiung MRT system. Transport in KaohsiungMetro System (Kaohsiung Rapid Transit)
The KRT currently has two lines in operation. Tickets can be purchased at automatic-ticket machines in all KRT stations.
The KRT runs from 6 am to 12 midnight seven days a week. Smoking, eating, drinking or gum chewing are strictly prohibited on all KRT trains.

- Taxi
Kaohsiung has a huge fleet of taxis. Charges are NT$85 for the first 1.5km and NT$5 for each additional 250 meters. An additional NT$5 is charged for every three minutes of waiting. All fares appear on the meter, except for a NT$10 charge for cabs dispatched by phone and for each piece of luggage placed in taxi trunk. Tips are not required. - Taiwan High Speed Railway

Trains on the round-the-island rail network provide extremely convenient services. Tickets may be purchased three days in advance - IPASS/Easy Card
All registrant can use the IPASS or Easy Card for paying on Kaohsiung Rapid Transit, Kaohsiung Public Bus, Railway, Taipei Metro, Taipei Public Bus, and designated convenience stores.
To use it for the first time, please ensure to add value at designated location such as the Kaohsiung Rapid Transit Station or convenience stores carrying the γγorγ
γ logo (7-ELEVEN, Family Mart, Hi-Life and OK Mart), and the minimum amount of value adding is NTD100.
