Brian Regan
Associate Bureau Chief, Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, Federal Communications Commission

Brian is an Associate Bureau Chief in the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau at the Federal Communications Commission. Brian has primary responsibility over spectrum policy matters within the Bureau, and leads spectrum policy coordination across the FCC.  In this role, Brian has led the development of rules and policies to increase the amount of spectrum available for wireless broadband and other uses, including in the context of 5G and dynamic spectrum sharing. Specifically, Brian helped lead Commission efforts on AWS-3, the 3.5 GHz band (Citizens Band Radio Service), Spectrum Frontiers, and the Commission's coordination with other U.S. federal agencies on spectrum policy matters.

Prior to this role, Brian was the Chief of Staff and Senior Legal & Policy Advisor to the Chief of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau, where he advised the Bureau Chief on a variety of policy matters and helped manage an organization of over 200 staff.
